I started doing hair 24 years ago and I started back in Dominican Republic. I learned how to do hair starting with myself and that’s when I found my passion of what I wanted to pursue my career in.
I became the person who I was today because I started from the bottom when I lived in Dominican Republic. In my hometown from where I came from I always wanted to strive to become a better version of myself because of what city I grew up in. Then once I created my family with my 3 boys, that’s when I had to provide for my family for them to have a better life than I did.
I see myself in five years owning 2 other salons here in the Hampton roads area. I have always dreamed of having my own salon here in the United States and my dream has came true. Now my time is to continue to keep going and striving more to have a popular salon all around the Hampton roads area until I space out into other states.
My favorite part about my job is knowing my clients walk out with happy and satisfied hair transformations. My clients love the way I take care of their hair and when they come visit me to do their hair in the salon. My clients are everything to me and I wouldn’t trade them for the world. It’s one step at a time for this whole process but it’s never impossible at Eugenia’s Hair Studio. I always try my best to ensure my clients walk out with fabulous hair.
